Preschoolers' parental attachments and social skills with peers

Do preschoolers' parental attachment styles predict specific social skills with peers? Sixty preschoolers were assessed using the Social Skills Improvement System (SSIS) and the Separation Anxiety Test (SAT). Results revealed that securely attached children had higher social skills scores and lower problem behavior scores than insecurely attached children.
